Cat Rescue & Adoption Network (CRAN) is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and placing cats and kittens from the Eugene–Springfield community into loving homes, with special emphasis on animals with special needs. CRAN operates through a network of foster homes and community adoption locations and relies on volunteers and donors to support medical care, socialization, and adoption services.
My Role:
As part of the marketing team, I lead digital content and audience strategy to strengthen CRAN’s brand presence and support its mission. My work focuses on using storytelling, audience insights, and performance data to drive engagement, increase visibility, and support adoption, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising goals.
Develop and execute Instagram and Facebook content strategies that translate CRAN’s mission into compelling, story-driven content, increasing awareness and driving traffic to adoption and donation platforms.
Shape and distribute the quarterly CRAN newsletter, crafting messaging and visual storytelling that strengthens donor relationships and communicates organizational impact.
Analyze performance metrics including engagement rates, link clicks, and open rates to refine messaging strategy and optimize content formats across platforms.
Align content strategy with organizational goals, supporting adoption efforts, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising initiatives through targeted, audience-focused messaging.
