Allen Hall Advertising (AHA) is a full-service, student-run advertising agency within the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism and Communication. AHA operates like a real agency, bringing together strategists, creatives, media planners, producers, and account managers to build professional-level campaigns for real clients.
One of my main accounts is the Oregon Innovation Challenge (OIC) in the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business which is an entrepreneurship program that supports students as they build and pitch business ideas for funding. All campaign work follows the Lundquist College of Business brand standards for tone, messaging, and visual identity.
My Role:
As a Digital Strategist, I lead the research and strategy development for the campaign and help translate insights into creative direction and social media storytelling.
Develop the full creative brief and pitch deck for the client team, outlining target audience insights, messaging strategy, and campaign direction.
Conduct audience and competitive research to inform messaging pillars and campaign positioning.
Direct content development for Instagram and YouTube, shaping story concepts that share the experiences of past Oregon Innovation Challenge winners.
Meet with the client weekly to ensure strategy, messaging, and creative execution remain aligned with campaign goals and brand standards.
Collaborate with creative and production teams to guide how the strategy is translated into social media content and campaign assets.
